Heritage Heroes Project Officer

Archaeology Scotland is seeking to appoint a full time, fixed term contract (until January 2015) Project Officer for our Heritage Heroes project. Working with the Learning team, the project officer will work in the Scottish Borders, facilitating partnerships between schools and community heritage groups. The aim of the project is to help community groups to engage with schools and to help schools realise the potential of their local heritage, archaeology and the expertise of local community heritage groups to help deliver the Curriculum for Excellence, and to develop key skills for students, especially speaking and listening skills.
