‘I think this is a great thing you’re doing and really appreciate the opportunity to contribute.’
Liz Conacher, Schools Learning Coordinator, National Galleries of Scotland
How to submit a resource:
Thank you for thinking about putting your resource(s) on the Heritage Resources Portal!
This kind of website is only as great as the resources on it, so we want you to know that we appreciate your resources and the images, logos and thought that you’ve put into each one that you submit. They’ll be showcased on the Portal beautifully!
Submit a resource by filling out this form (Word) and sending it to the Portal Coordinator, or if you have a Google account, you can do it online via Google docs (contact the Portal Coordinator to get the link to the form).
We’ve created Resource Providers’ Guidance Notes to help you fill out the form Note that once you fill out and submit the form, your entry is pending Portal Coordinator’s approval.
Want to write a blog post?
We are also running a blog for educators-users of the portal; people who would like to or already do use heritage learning in their sessions. Please get in touch if you’d like to contribute! We’ll write post blogs once a month minimum, on topics of interest to educators. Some of these will be static posts and some will be ‘living documents’ that we’ll update as and when. Examples of topics to write about could be:
- best practice
- what we know now –
- showcase of our resource providers
- in-depth reviews
- using resources – how this works in a variety of learning settings and for different audiences
- ‘how to’s
- case studies
- funding sources – where to go
- CPD around learning, in particular heritage learning
Questions? Comments? Contact Rebecca, our Portal Coordinator.
