The Govan Stones

A visit to the Govan Stones exhibition provides an opportunity for all to learn about a moment in history when Govan was the seat of kings, when pilgrims prayed at the tombs of saints, and when Viking warriors plundered and conquered throughout the islands of Britain.

A range of new and innovative resources has been created to promote and enhance access and engagement for school groups.

These materials will help your class to get the most out of a visit to Govan Old Church, and can also be used to support history projects in the classroom.
