Hunter Archaeological and Historical Trust
This Trust, which was established by the late Doreen Hunter in 1975 and is a registered Scottish Charity (SC020451), supports research and investigations into the archaeology and history of Scotland from the end of the Roman period until the end of the Middle Ages, and assists publication on themes within this period.
Applications are considered at annual meetings of Trustees, generally held in March. Grants normally fall within the range of between £300 and £3,000, but in well merited cases sums of up to £5,000 may be available. The next deadline for submissions is 31 January 2017.
