Last month we had the wonderful addition of two new team members.
Bringing a diverse range of skills into our team, Megan Goodlet and Paul Crawford will be working closely with our Marketing and Communications intern and our Membership and Administration teams.
Megan is starting as a membership database trainee. She graduated from the University of Bournemouth with an honour’s degree in Arts in Costume Creation. Her interests lean towards historical dress and recreating garments using the same techniques used in the past. This experience also increased Megan’s interest in archives and conservation. In her free time, she enjoys all kinds of media focusing on folklore and global history themes. Megan is looking forward to the new opportunity to learn about that which is closer to home.
Paul is joining Archaeology Scotland as a trainee helping with the organisation’s social media efforts. He completed his studies at Preston Lodge High School and went to college to pursue his passion for photography and videography. Paul created a podcast during lockdown using the experience he learned presenting a short radio show during and after school. Paul hopes to gain further knowledge around social media and hopefully learn about archaeology in Scotland as it is a personal interest of his.
We are delighted to welcome them into our organisation. We are really looking forward to working with them and hearing their ideas. We also hope that they gain a lot of fun and rich experiences.
