Colouring Book for Adults

Scotland before Scotland

We are very excited to announce that we will be soon offering this colouring book for adults on our website, hopefully perfectly on time for Christmas!!

The colouring images were drawn by Alan Braby, an archaeological illustrator. The images are both recreations of real sites and what they might have looked like and general pictures of ancient Scotland.

The theme of the book is Scotland before Scotland and focuses on sites from the Mesolithic until about a 1000 years ago when the modern state of Scotland was forming. The images are drawn intricately so that adults can enjoy filling out the details, but it’s fun for everyone!

(Children can enjoy it but some of the images contain scenes of death, burial and human remains that maybe be disturbing. Parents are advised to look through it to see if the images are appropriate for your children before giving it to them.)

Stay updated!
